The Beauty of Acceptance 2022 - Photos
Inspired by my breast cancer journey, the first exhibit features a fashion depiction of the five stages of grief - through photographs, clothing, and accessories. I am the show curator, and Zachary Lee is the photographer.
The Beauty of Acceptance 2023 - Photos
As a follow-up to the first photography series, Melissa partnered with photographer Leta Taylor to create the Sixth Stage of Grief reflected through the elements: Water, Air, Earth, Fire, and Spirit.

My most recent showing of The Beauty of Acceptance was held at the USC Keck School of Medicine campus in 2024 from January 8-31 as a part of their HEAL program.
